1 CD

World premiere recordings of a selection of William Hurlstone’s chamber works for wind forces and piano. Hurlstone is an unjustly neglected British composer who died prematurely at the age of 30 in 1906. His whose works are only now beginning to be performed and recorded – this Continuum disc accentuates the view that Hurlstone’s untimely demise robbed Britain of a distinctive and talented personality.
